The Egyptian museum, among the largest museums in the world, is home to an extensive collection of impressive artifacts and Pharaonic art. It displays about 250,000 items, including Tutankhamun’s famous collection.
Our next stop will be the Coptic District, a mystical spot that brings the three Abrahamic religions together. The Religious Complex encompasses many important historic sites, including the church of San Sergio and the 5th-century Hanging Church. Finally, you will visit the synagogue of “Ben Ezra,” the last remaining Jewish survivor, with its arabesque ornamentation and Star of David.
Our last stop will be at one of the most prominent destinations in Egypt, the 12th-century Salah Al-Din Citadel, which offers a spectacular view of the entire city. The ancient citadel houses the “Alabaster Mosque,” with its magnificent dome and side minarets.
