Abu Simbel Temple and Sound & Light Show

Abu Simbel Temple Complex, the spectacular monument is an ancient engineering masterwork. As we arrive at the complex, you’ll be stunned with the two temples, guarded by the colossi of Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Tour the Great Temple’s halls and admire the magnificent statues and engraved battle reliefs as the guide share tales of the temple’s history. You will hear the incredible story of the temple’s relocation in 1960 to protect it from the Lake Nasser flooding after building the High Dam.

In the evening, you’ll watch the Sound and Light Show at Abu Simbel Temples. The impressive temples become even more enchanting at night when the show lights up the façade with magical lighting, along with music and narration, taking you back when Ramses the Great ruled Egypt. Finally, you will return back to Aswan.
