During the tour, we will visit the Arch of Triumph, the Oval Plaza, the Cardo, the Colonnade, the Temple of Aphrodite, and finally, the Roman Theater, renowned for its marvelous acoustics. Afterward, we will visit Ajloun Castle, a fortress built in 1185 and later rebuilt in the 13th century by the Mamluks after its destruction by the Mongols. It is a Crusader-era castle, situated on top of a mountain, offering a beautiful view. After the visit, return to Amman. Dinner and Overnight.
Breakfast. Departure to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, situated 400 meters below sea level. Opportunity to swim. Return to Amman. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast. Departure to visit the Orthodox Church of St. George, home to the first mosaic map of Palestine. Continue to Mount Nebo to enjoy the panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea from the mountain. This site is significant as it was the last place visited by Moses and from where he viewed the Promised Land, which he would never reach. Proceed to Shobak Castle, a solitary reminder of the Crusaders' ancient glory, built in 1115 by King Baldwin as a defense for the route between Damascus and Egypt. The castle is located less than an hour north of Petra, and sometimes referred to as 'Mont Real,' it is perched on a mountain overlooking a wide area of fruit trees. Departure to Petra. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast. A full day dedicated to exploring the Rose City, the capital of the Nabateans. During the visit, we will see the most important and representative monuments carved into the rock by the Nabateans, including the Treasury, a famous and internationally known monument featured in one of the Indiana Jones films, the Colorful Tombs, the Royal Tombs, and more. Petra is one of those places in the world that everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. At the end of the visit, return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. Departure to what is known as "Little Petra," just 15 km north of Petra. A narrow gorge, only 2 meters wide, with its typical Nabatean architecture makes this visit unique and incomparable. It was inhabited by the Nabateans and has many tombs, water containers, and channels. A small path leads to some of the interior area, Siq Al Bared. The scale of this area and the fact that it is a continuation of Petra gave it the name of Little Petra. Departure to Wadi Rum, the desert of Lawrence of Arabia. A 2-hour 4x4 excursion in the Wadi Rum desert, driven by Bedouins, will take you through the lunar landscape of this desert. We will venture into the pink sands of this desert, which has a special charm provided by the granite massifs that nature has sculpted into whimsical shapes. Dinner and overnight stay in the desert.
Breakfast. At the scheduled time, departure to Amman. Dinner and accommodation.
Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a scheduled flight back to your city of origin.
